THE FURNESS RAILWAY TRUST

Registered Charity 1163073

The Preston branch of the Furness Railway Trust is a local group that meets regularly during the winter months to provide a social focus. The FRT is setting up its new restoration and overhaul facilities at the Ribble Steam Railway in Preston, and a core of active members lives in the area. This branch is for them, but all the events are open to all, including non-members.

The talks are held at the Bitter Suite pub on Fylde Road, Preston. All meetings start at 8pm. The Bitter Suite has excellent real ales, and is near the University of Central Lancashire buildings.

The final  Preston Branch meeting of the current winter season will take place at 8pm on Tuesday, 12th April. There will be a video showing north west steam in 2015 and 2016, filmed by Derek Milby.

Do please come along and support the branch meetings - you'll be treated to a fascinating presentation, and have the chance to meet FRT members and others: a warm welcome is guaranteed.
